A promotion video to illustrate BCA's unique ability to create a space where artists from ALL backgrounds can express themselves freely.
Cast and Crew Callout
At the end of August, BCA will be filming a short commercial to promote itself to new members coming out of college and coming to Uni for the first time.
We want to illustrate BCA’s unique ability to create a space where artists from all backgrounds are able to express themselves freely. We want to put forward the importance of this by reaching out to all members and anyone interested in getting involved in representing the space which has offered us all the ability to create what we like.
We also want to make it clear that BCA puts this callout to anyone who has had a role in BCA before, but also people who haven’t. This callout is for anyone from any background, ethnicity, gender, sexuality or faith, if you would like to have your voice heard and be represented then this is for you. Help us to open up BCA to a wider range of people in the new term so that as many new stories can be told as possible.
The short video will include monologue from several people walking through the frame while several events take place behind them (e.g. film crews, music band). There will also be a short animated section.
Roles to be auditioned:
- 3x Walkers (actors)
- 1x Film crew director (actor)
- 1x Voice actor
Open roles:
- 1x Editor
- 3-5x Extras for film crew
- 3-5x Extras for music band
- 5-10x Extras at the balloon bar
There will also be an animated section in the ad for which we will need the following artists:
- 5-6x Animated background artists
- 1x Character animation
Feel free to express interest or message the team if you have any questions or would like to collaborate in another way!
