Bath Film Festival (BFF) is the biggest and most respected festival of its kind in the South West. The festival will run from the 28th of November to the 8th of December 2013, during which we will put on between 35 and 45 films and film related events. The film festival has atmosphere – packed yet quiet auditoriums – special guests, live events, and surprises.

Film Notes x 20

Role status:

Closed on 17 October, 2013

In return for:

• Free festival seats for selected screenings (one Film Note, one ticket) • An opportunity for you to communicate your enthusiasm for film • A chance to have your written work published

Timing:

30 days from 17 October, 2013

The film notes need to be written and approved by the time we launch the brochures (1st Nov, small version) and before the event (28 Nov - 8 Dec, long version for customers). You don't need to come at the office to write it, it means that you can write it from home, but we would prefer somebody local. The two most important aims of this work are that: • Customers are able to read clear and informative film notes prior to screenings • Screenings are enhanced through the provision of appropriate notes

Location:

To be discussed

This job involves writing film notes for the festival screenings (there are likely to be 40 to 50 films across the festival). Film notes should be between 500 – 600 words. We can provide copies of some films and point you in the direction of websites where you can find reviews and other articles. We can also provide press pack information for some films.
