ARRIVAL is an adventure. And a theatre show. But not one where you sit down in doors and watch people on stage...
Performers will take you an audio-visual journey through local streets: there’ll be music, beatboxing, dance and many more surprises packed into this exciting show! You’ll enter a hidden outdoor site, be accompanied by a band of drummers and end by watching a spectacular, animated film projection mapped onto the iconic Millennium Mills. You even get to walk on water.
Local young people and communities from the Royal Docks and Newham are at the heart of this show, you’ll be hearing and watching their stories come alive and you might even spot your Mum or Gran, the postman or a neighbour!
Arrival is directed by Matthew Dunster (currently also directing Lily Allen in the West End) and designed by Jon Bausor (who designed the opening ceremony for the Paralympic games) and is co-created with communities from across the Royal Docks.
Hi! I am an actor living in London. I did the 'Stepping Up' course at the National Youth Theatre and performed at the 'ARRIVAL' show at the Royal Docks. I am looking to get more involved in film at the moment.
