Comedy-drama pilot - 2 ND creatives just trying to make a living accidentally end up in the world of espionage.
Logline: When Emma pretends to be Will’s agent, Will accidentally convinces an intelligence operative he’s an actual spy, but both’s success as ‘agents’ might be about to put them in real danger as they unmask a conspiracy.
Writer-director Mark Bowsher states: "As an award-winning filmmaker with over 10 years' experience, I'm looking to move away from corporate to narrative (my 3 Best Short winners were all narrative), using this scene to help get a fully funded series. I'm very keen to put together a crew that will work on the full series."
Emma is a highly intelligent, queer freelance writer with ADHD. Although very smart, people often miss this as she often speaks her mind out loud, which diverges all over the place so much that folk often think she's mad. She's chilled, friendly, has her quirks, but often likes to express her darker side through writing. Keen to cast an actor with ADHD for this role.
