A broken bird (Short film)
Talia tries to set up her mother, Sarah, a 54 years old woman in a wheelchair, with Romelda, a unique 59 years old woman.
Dating in your fifties is not easy, as is disturbing your peace. "A broken bird" gives the stage to queer older women, to tell their side of the story.
For a new production, we are looking for a producer.
"A broken Bird" is a short comedy, written by myself and produced by Blue Metaphor Ltd. This will be our second film production.
It is a queer story, portraying the difficulties in dating in your fifties, but also the strength women have in being on their own.
Filming will be over one day (TBC) in Bristol. We do hope to film in December/January, and we are planning a screening for February.
We work as a team, and we understand that everyone has their own commitments. We believe in helping each other out to make sure everyone is happy. We do everything we can to make sure all crew members get something out of the production, either experience, skills or sometimes, just a good time!
