Running Cliché Productions is inviting submissions from UK-based writers to join a team applying to BFI NETWORK England Short Film Funding.
This is a funding application call-out. Fees will be budgeted in line with the fund guidelines if the project is successful.
Project brief: original, standalone fiction short (live action) any genre, intended length up to 15 minutes (script approx ≤ 16 pages).

1–2 writing samples (or a short script sample)
3–5 line bio
Logline for the short you’d like to propose
Please do not send the full script at this stage. Full scripts may be requested from shortlisted submissions.
Writer eligibility (summary):
UK-based
No commercial distribution deal in the last 5 years for previous longform narrative work (unless self-distributed)
Not attached as writer/director on a BFI Filmmaking Fund or BFI NETWORK development/production award delivered to the BFI in the last 2 years
Meets general team requirements.
