Freelance Camera Operator and Editor

As a freelance Camera Operator & Editor, you will have the chance to own the entire filmmaking process from ideation to delivery. This includes developing and pitching concepts to clients before going on set to film or, on occasion, direct the shoot. You will then edit the films you create, ensuring your vision is realised and giving you a sense of ownership of your work.

You will have a portfolio of work demonstrating your ability as a filmmaker, showing a good understanding of filmmaking processes such as lighting, camera operation, composition, basic audio design, and colour grading. You must demonstrate creativity within your work as both a camera operator and editor. You will have the confidence to adapt and work independently and as part of a team.
