Ruffs Furze Films specialises in creating contemporary comedy. We are producing a short comedy film, 'Neighbourhood Watch', to be shot in Somerset in February. This will be our second film following the success of our first, 'Harvest', which has already won 4 Best Comedy Film awards with further award nominations to be announced later this year.

We are looking for someone to edit the film, starting in mid-February. The film is estimated to be 20 minutes in duration. We're looking for someone with experience in editing for film, ideally having edited for comedy although that's not essential. Good communication skills (as well as editing!) are important for this role.

We are a small and new company looking to find people with a strong interest in both film and comedy, as well as editing for film. We hope to build a steady team that will grow together. We have more and bigger projects coming up, each one aiming to have bigger goals and budgets.

This role would be a good fit for someone looking to gain more experience, join a small but growing, committed and successful team, and who loves their job and the industry. A professional but fun personality will fit right in with us!

Please apply with your estimated fee, bearing in mind our company size and age. (Small and new!)

Ruffs Furze Films are openly in support of improved equality in the industry.
