Film and television has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, I honestly can't remember a time where I didn't want to be making films for a living, the reality is I love it when I'm on set working, whatever that job is, I love being part of the process. I am an optimistic person, I am a fast learner and I work hard and am happy to travel to anywhere around the UK, and I would always be appreciative of an opportunity.

I have an HND in Creative Industries and Television Production, and the college I attended made the course more like a working environment rather than an educational environment - and as a result we were in the studio and the gallery for broadcasting experience, and we were involved in a lot of short films working in various roles as crew members. But after college I was a camera operator for camera B on a corporate shoot; I was a script supervisor for short film called 'Goodbye Charlie'; whilst partaking in London's 48-Hour Sci-Fi Film Festival I was 1st AD for short film 'The Search'; in September 2019 I worked as a 2nd AC for a short film called 'Opal'.

I have mostly worked in film in various roles but have some experience in technical theatre also; in the summer of 2018 I did a technical theatre training programme in which I learnt a great deal about the specific equipment and set-ups, and how to work in lighting and sound and general stage roles, and at the end of the programme I was lighting technician and operator for a short play 'The Politics of the White Stuff'. In summer of 2019 I worked in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as a venue technician with quite varied tasks from assembling truss and scaffolding then dismantling at the end of the festival, cabling, draping, being in technical rehearsals for various companies and designing lighting schemes, helping various performers set up on stage and set up backstage, focus lights and sort out cables in very little time, and also operating certain shows.

In Scotland there hasn't been as much filming opportunities, and due to having commitments in Scotland for the past couple of years I have been working in various freelance roles more in photography and modelling, and been doing editing work from home and some theatre opportunities - but would love to get back to working on set as part of film crew.
