Jordan's work as a cinematographer has premiered at Cannes, Tribeca, Locarno, Sao Paulo and Tokyo film festivals. His directorial work has twice received special jury prizes for the “Louis Vuitton Journeys Awards” competition judged by Luca Guadagnino in 2012 ("Prank," world premiere at the Rome Film Festival), and Wong Kar Wai in 2010 ("Canvas," presented by LV International). His short film "5cm" premiered at the 2013 Locarno Film Festival, which won the Special jury Prizes at the USA Film Festival and Guanajuato Film Festival. "Ten Years From Now" had its world premiere at the 2011 Vancouver International Film Festival and won the Grand Prize for Best Graduate Short Film at the NYU First Run Film Festival.
His first feature film as writer/director, "Dog Days," reached the semi-finals of the Oscars' Nicholl Fellowship in screenwriting and was selected for the 25th session of the Residence of Cannes Film Festival. It was also selected for the Rotterdam, Pusan and Udine Film Festivals' project markets. In 2013, Jordan produced a video diary for the Cannes Film Festival for Louis Vuitton featuring Sofia Coppola and Fan Bing Bing, entitled, "A New Kind of Love," which was published on their website and internationally distributed. In 2014, his short fiction film “Turtle” (Wu Gui) world premiered as official selection of the 52nd New York Film Festival and reviewed in Film Comment Magazine (http://www.filmcomment.com/entry/nyff-2014-shorts-program). In 2015, he photographed and directed a short film for Estee Lauder with model/actress Gabriella Wilde.
Currently, he is based in Beijing and New York City.
