Biography
Jake Nwogu is a dynamic Movement Practitioner who can dance, fight, and act like a beast. He trained in various dance genres at Arts Education Secondary School London and Central School of Ballet, and mastered other movement disciplines such as Stage/Screen Combat, Creature Work and Motion Capture.
Jake has worked with various dance companies such as Phoenix Dance Company, Ballet Black, Tavaziva Dance Company and 2Faced Dance Company. He has also played diverse roles in the film and TV industry, such as a martial artist in Doctor Strange (Marvel), the first Timelord -Tecteun- and a Monster in Doctor Who (BBC), an Action Performer in Gangs of London (Sky TV) and One Shot (Screen Media Films), an Armed Response Officer in Bodyguard (BBC) and a Synth named ‘Kelvin’ in Humans series 3 (Channel 4). He has recently done Motion Capture for various AAA games such as F1 2020 and Horizon Zero Dawn, Alan Wake 2 and others that are coming soon. Jake is always up for new challenges and opportunities to express himself through movement.
