Ian Hunt Lancaster, United Kingdom

Ian has Degrees in Digital Media Production, Electrical & Electronic Engineering and with a recent Masters Degree in Cinematography for Digital Film and Television. Ian currently studies PhD Film at Lancaster University with a practice in Documentary Film Production.

As Cinematographer or Director Of Photography Ian has worked on over 20 films, some still in post production and being considered for festival submission or already circulating the International Film Festivals. His most recent documentary "Yayu and The Wimborne Folk Festival" has already been selected by several Film Festivals reaching Semi and Finalist positions in the awards.

He has worked in professional Television and Theatre as a Lighting Engineer and International Project Engineer, responsible for Lighting systems and control in TV Studios and Theatres in Europe and the Middle and Far East.

Ian is a award-winning lighting designer and has won National awards for Lighting and Technical Theatre. He has had articles published in National Filming Magazines.

Ian is a founding member of the Indie Film Production company, ‘Smudgerhunt Film’ which is currently producing new films while Ian attends University.
