Huw has worked in film, television, immersive theatre and commercials as an actor since 2018. Huw is also a very experienced stand in and double. He has appeared in over 40 television series and 20 feature films. His speaking roles include, an angry pubgoer, in Living 2022, the Vicar in The Pembrokeshire Murders 2022, William Harding in Sex and Sensibility 2021 and the Judge in The Festival 2018. Other credits include, Desk Sergeant, The Outlaws 2022, Aunt Frances’s husband in The Aeronauts 2019 and Harold Wilson in The Trial of Christine Keeler 2020.
Huw has also appeared in numerous commercials and corporate videos, including a speaking part in the Blackadder 40th Anniversary promo 2023.
In addition Huw has appeared in over 25 musicals at the Theatre Royal Bath both as a principle and in the chorus. These roles have included, Emerald City Guard in The Wizard of Oz, Clyde Gabriel in The Witches of Eastwick, Rudolph Reisenweber in Hello Dolly, Herman Spritzer in Hairspray, Gladhand in West Side Story and most recently Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady.
Since then he has appeared in a wide variety of productions including as the Vicar in have been pursuing a second career as a film and television actor. I am keen to work on local independent films. I also have over 15 years experience performing in musical theatre locally.
Huw is a registered Spotlight performer.
