I founded Raindance Film Festival in 1993, the British Independent Film Awards in 1998, Raindance Canada in 2004, Raindance.TV(co-founder) 2007 and Raindance NYC in 2010. I have produced over 150 short films and 5 feature films.
I have written eight scripts, one of which is currently in pre-production. My first feature film, TABLE 5 was shot on 35mm and completed for a total of £278.38. I teach writers and producers in the UK, Europe, Japan and America. I have written two books which have become industry standards: RAINDANCE WRITERS' LAB (Focal Press 2008) and RAINDANCE PRODUCERS' LAB (2004). Another book: Filmmaking: 130 Steps from Script to Screen (Barrons) was published in 2009.
My first novel THE BANDIT QUEEN is scheduled for publication next year.
My film production company, Raindance Raw Talent, completed the feature film "Love.Honour.Obey" in 2013 written by Mark Rogers and directed by Ate de Jong.
