Recipient of a First Class BA Honours Degree in Film Studies at Falmouth University. Recipient of a Merit MA Honours Degree in Film and Television at the University of Bristol. I am a published journalist, journalism editor, and varied filmmaker. I have experience with camerawork, editing, colour grading, sound recording, and directing having been involved in various documentary, experimental, and narrative film projects alongside music videos.

I have interviewed filmmakers Jamie Adams (director of Songbird and Black Mountain Poets), the Blaine brothers (directors of Nina Forever), and Alex Crowton (co-director of The Sad & Beautiful World of Sparklehorse) - all established, independent filmmakers . These journalism projects have enabled for me to learn from key industry professionals.

Aside from working in many departments on my own projects, I have worked as a 1st AD, Production Assistant, and Runner on the upcoming short film Off Grid, a horror film starring James Cosmo (Braveheart and Game of Thrones), Alison Steadman (Pride & Prejudice and Gavin & Stacey), Mark Baylis (Coronation Street), and Kate Davies-Speak (Horizon). I have also acted as 1st AD on the new short film directed by Gillian Harker. 

I have recently completed my Postgraduate dissertation; a documentary project called Rose which scrutinises the relationship between photography and film. The film follows my Grandmother as she comes to terms with growing older a week after her ninety-third birthday. This film is currently doing a festival circuit.
