I trained at École Philippe Gaullier in Paris – an absolutely essential part of my training. I try to embody a sense of liveness, play and pleasure to perform in every moment I am with an audience.
I’ve made a trilogy of solo shows to great acclaim over the years. I equally enjoy working and devising as part of an ensemble.
“The Self Trilogy consists of Ed’s three shows about, well, himself. Except, of course, they’re also about us. And it’s that exchange – the artist/performer exploring the depths of his existence, sharing it with us as though we’re his longest and oldest friends – that makes his work so brilliant.”
– David Lockwood – The history of the shed in 100 people.
I’ve performed (in no particular order) at: Bristol Old Vic, Forest Fringe, Mayfest, MAC Birmingham, Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Barbican Centre London, Invisible Circus (Audi Garage), Swindon Dance, BAC, Tristan Bates, Colchester Arts Centre, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Hat Fair, ICIA, The Bikeshed Theatre in Exeter and many many more.
