Scottish music composer Dean McGinnes is a London-based composer. He has written music for a wide range of films, web series, commercials, documentaries and trailers. A versatile composer and has built relationships with award winning directors and music publishers. Working with Posing Productions on the award-winning films, The Last Great Climb and Brit Rock. Scoring to picture on the award winning documentary and trailer, Wind Riders. As well as adverts likes of Scholastic Book fare, Plenty, Unmasking Mental Heath, Sky Movies. His client list ranges from Apple, Pro Medica, Dodge, Norwex, Nescafe, Panasonic, Tüv Rheinland, Northrop Grumman. 

Dean scored his first full feature film "Don't Speak" with his second feature film score "The Gardener" now picked up by Lionsgate. Released 2021. 

As well as scoring to picture, Dean is a writer for a number of music publishers. His music is regularly used on major TV networks. On shows such as Masterchef, Jimmy Kimmel Show, Australia's Got Talent, BBC News, 60 Minutes, Australia X Factor, Home And Away and Panorama, to name but a few. Also adverts and trailers. Likes of Sky Movies, Sky Mobile, Thomas Keller Masterclass trailer. In 2015 & 2016 Dean was nominated in several categories at The Production Music awards in London.
