I’m a sociable guy who enjoys seeing new places and meeting new people. Based in Birmingham, I work all over the UK and internationally.
After gaining my honours degree in Film Production Technology, I went on to set up my own video production company at the age of 22. A couple of years later my company was purchased and integrated into a global toy business. I spent the next 8 years filming and producing international advertising campaigns and promos for their products. The majority of which have been broadcast on numerous TV channels around the world.
I eventually decided that it was about time I stopped playing with toys and got a proper job, and so I decided to specialise in camera and jib work.
Extensive experience of working in different locations means I am adaptable – whether it be a studio or the great plains of Africa. I am unique in my field in that I have an excellent grasp of the entire production process; from understanding what the producer’s role entails, to what is needed from a camera operator. This makes me very efficient on set and a highly competent shooter. My knowledge of a vast range of equipment means using my kit is second nature. This allows me to focus on the work I am creating without being distracted by the technical aspects.
I am a happy chap and I would say I’m pretty fun to work with; my clients will attest to that and aside from the great work I produce, I feel this is what keeps them coming back.
In a nutshell, I am reliable, trustworthy and punctual. I have a full clean driving license and £2 million public liability insurance.
