Development & Partnerships Manager at Creative UK
I am Chief Executive and Festival Director at Encounters, one of the UK's key short film festivals.
Prior to this I worked as Business Affairs Executive at Ffilm Cymru Wales across a wide range of rights, legal documentation and business affairs activities, supporting the company in the progression, closing and after-care of productions that are offered, or being considered for funding.
I also co-founded and ran The Other Room, Cardiff’s pub theatre, where I was responsible for the strategic direction and fiscal health of the company. I led on producing and delivering the artistic programme and creating and developing numerous talent development initiatives.
Other experience includes producing National Youth Theatre Wales for National Youth Arts Wales, and freelance consultancy work across arts fundraising, business planning, strategy development and entrepreneurship.
I am proud to be a part of the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator, Bristol hub. I am an alumni of the American Express Leadership Academy, Clore Emerging Leaders programme and former Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
