I am a passionate filmmaker with three years of experience in documentary filmmaking and more than eight years in print and broadcasting journalism. I currently work as a freelance film editor and videographer.
I have finished editing a short fiction and have collaborated on two films as a camera assistant. Currently I am editing a short animation film and co-producing a documentary which tells story of an Afghan journalist who got killed by Taliban. Also, I am working on a podcast and writing articles for various media outlets.
As a freelance documentary filmmaker whilst adapting to diverse cultural sensitivities and often challenging filming conditions, I have successfully delivered two documentaries and promotional videos.
I have experience using Sony cameras, editing Blackmagic camera footage and confident using both Final Cut and Adobe Premiere Pro.
In terms of equipment, I have a Sony FX3, a 24-105mm f4 Sony lens and a Switti lighting kit.
I embrace every challenge, respect different perspectives and open to different ideas. I am organised, committed, hardworking and continue to learn throughout life.
