With an 8 years acting background under my belt, in 2017 I started working on my guerrilla-arthouse feature film, "BORDERLINE", a super raw autobiographical project born from the depths of pain, which I wrote, directed, produced, edited and starred in, overlooking all aspects of production.
The film was improvised around a 12 pages plot outline (for a total of 40 hours of footage), shot in 3 countries - UK, France, Italy -made with a 1 man band and a total budget of £40K.
After landing a 15K MG distribution deal with Wolfe Releasing (the oldest LGBT distributor in the US) upon my very first director's cut screening in California in 2019, the final version of the film had an official premiere at the 51st edition of IFFI GOA (World Panorama) 2021 - the oldest and biggest festival in Asia - to which followed a THEATRICAL release in more than 20 cinemas in South Korea and another distribution deal in Germany with Edition Salzgeber.
Only in Germany the film screened in 11 cities as part of the QUEER FILM FESTIVAL and several others, on top of a bunch of festivals in the US (Cinequest, Wicked Queer etc), the 37th Edition of the LOVERS FILM FESTIVAL in Turin, Italy and the 15th edition of the POLYCHROMES - the LGBT Cultural Association in Côte d'Azur, France.
