More DetailsHide Details

I am currently a student studying HND Tv, Film and Theatre Makeup after completing my HNC with an A at New college Lanarkshire Coatbridge campus. I am Reliable and trustworthy, and I always do the best I can in any task being asked. I am a very sociable person who gets along with everyone and I love to meet and interact with new people. I also have a drivers licence.

-        In 2019 while still at school in 6th year I took makeup artistry as a subject. This came with the opportunity to take part in the AHT Competition that took place in Edinburgh college. I took part in the 16+ prom makeup event and placed 1st. This qualified me to go down to blackpool winter gardens to compete in the national finals in which I placed 2nd

-        During my HNC I attended many master classes with very experienced makeup artists such as Kirsty Martin who is a makeup artist for the likes of Helen Flanagan and Sharon Cuthbert who is a magazine published bridal makeup expert. I gained a lot of tips and tricks from these classes that will help me within my job role.

-        Since starting my HND I have won the New College Lanarkshire Christmas hair and makeup competition that’s as back in December where we had to create a Christmas themed look. Just recently I have had a class with an artist called Paula Rebanks who is worked on hollyoaks, game of thrones and most recently worked in the house of dancing water in macu. Paula set us a task to creat a hair and makeup look that would fit in the show. I was chosen as the winner of this competition with my dark queen makeup and hair look.

-        I also now have skills in continuity as I am learning to cut hair into different styles, I have become more aware of watching where and when things change or need to change.
