Since completing my Sound Design degree I've spent my time honing my audio expertise, both as a freelancer, working on various small-scale independent productions. Sound has always been my absolute passion, be it recording, editing, mixing.
I am an avid and enthusiastic sound recordist, sound designer and composer looking to expand upon my professional industry experience. Since graduating moving to Bristol after graduating in 2016 I have been honing my skills and developing my show reel by creating redesigning trailers and scenes from films. I have been expanding my sound library by recording and creating a vast array of my own samples. I also record, mix and master for songwriters and bands. I am currently working on two small short film projects.
My latest audio role was as Boom Op, Audio Editor and Sound Designer for a short film project entitled ‘For Mia’. I was solely in charge of the audio. We shot the film near lake Como in Northern Italy. This was my first overseas project so there were many lessons learnt regarding the logistical processes involved in production including confronting issues with costing and insurance. Because of the limitations in personnel and budget, the project took a lot of careful organisation, communication and teamwork. We had to all manage the time wisely and I had to be adaptable to momentary changes. This took swift decision-making as well as the ability to introduce and explain new concepts to others in a concise and understandable manner.
