Do you know where Karelia is? 

This is the region where I am from, but Brussels has been my home since 2014. All these years I lived and worked in Belgium as a creator of all kinds of visual content. My background is as a creative director in an advertising agency, but in recent years my main daily work is creating visual stories as documentaries, experimental video art, fashion videos and creative brand advertising. If we’ve learned anything from the roller coaster of the past few years, life is short and precious and we need to make the most of every opportunity we have to spend time with loved ones, to engage with the world around us, to experience new things and to make treasured memories. I’ve learned all of this and more through four master degrees, also by working and living around the world, and meeting all kinds of people. When I work with my clients my main goal is to convey the message as clearly as possible, but with my vision and professional skills. It just so happens that lately I’ve been working quite often with contemporary dance festivals (Trouble, La Vie En Rose, Bionic Festival), queer and LGBTQ+ artists, and a bit with tango, opera and electronic musicians. I can often be seen at film festivals around the world. In 2021 I was invited as a jury member to LGBTQ+ film festival Cheris Cheries for feature documentaries section. This year I was honoured to be part of Berlinale Talents 2023, which further connected me to the Berlin film scene and potentially opened doors to create new media, including content for TV, series and VR stories.
