Extended to a part time job if things go well and both parties wish it.

Background

Tabb has recently opened a highly affordable coworking Hub targeted at filmmakers and creatives. https://tabb.cc/hub-bristol. There are two core offerings; Dedicated Desks at £145 per month and Community Passes at £99 per month. And there are many other possibilities for how the space could be effectively utilised.

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to take responsibility for promoting and selling - bringing in new residents / members, building the community. We need someone consistent and organised, happy to work to a comprehensive playbook that we'll provide, also someone with initiative that can jump on unexpected opportunities as they arise.

The ideal candidate will already have experience in selling, community engagement and social media marketing.

Strong communication skills are a must.

Eligibility

Applications are open to all but we're particularly keen to hear from recent University of Bristol graduates eligible to be part of the university's Internship Scheme. If that's you then you should be able to follow this link to find out more about the scheme before applying

To be eligible for the fund you must be a registered student, or alumni who has completed your degree within the past 15 months. 

Potential

If the internship goes well and both parties wish to continue the engagement, we plan to extend the role into part-time employment.

The person in this role will be:

  • Reaching out directly to potential residents via email, telephone and social media channels.
  • Preparing updates and sharing them via our own social media channels.
  • Keeping an eye on various social media groups / channels and chipping in when germane.
  • Researching and advertising on relevant sites, groups and listings.
  • Researching and attending relevant events to network and schmooze.
  • Distributing flyers.
  • Managing social media ad campaigns.

Basic Requirements 

  • Experience in selling, PR and social media management.
  • Confidence to reach out to people.
  • Fluent with collaboration and remote working tech (Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet...)
  • Skilled in communications.
  • Good spelling and grammar.
