Jake has extensive experience working closely with international music production companies such as Evolving Sound, Soho Production Music, and Strike Audio, composing, producing and editing music to brief for adverts, TV shows, and trailers. He has experience working on film productions, notable examples include multi-award-winning Bad Beat (short film, 2020), In Time of Plague (documentary, 2021), and Becoming (short, 2020).

Some of Jake's sync placements include Equestrian FEI Jumping World Cup (CBS Sports -USA), Good Morning Britain (ITV1 - UK), Albert Camus, l'icône de la révolte (LCP/Public Sénat - France), Videospielmagazin (ZDF Neo - Germany) and Burgerimiehet Pohjolassa (Nelonen - Finland). Jake's ever-expanding back catalogue includes 20 commercial albums, 17 production music albums, and many single tracks written for different production music libraries. All songs have been composed, recorded, produced and mixed entirely by Jake.

Throughout his writing career, Jake has gained experience working in professional recording studios, on analogue equipment (e.g, Neve VR) and with various industry-standard plugin libraries (for example, Native Instruments, UAD plugin libraries, EastWest).
